Bridge shuts in Victoria gas field

LOGGS facilities: Bridge Energy has shut-in production from its Victoria gas field following a leak that closed ConocoPhillips' LOGGS facilities in the UK North Sea on 30 November

Norwegian player Bridge Energy reported on Thursday that it has shut-in production from its Victoria gas field in the UK southern North Sea basin.

The London-listed company said production was closed in after the gas export infrastructure system being used by the field became unavailable on 30 November.

Bridge stated that this unavailability was due to issues on the ConocoPhillips-operated Lincolnshire Offshore Gas Gathering System (LOGGS) facilities, which receives and processed gas from a number of fields and feeds it via a 36-inch pipeline to the Theddlethorpe terminal in Lincolnshire, UK.

“As a consequence production from the Victoria field is currently closed in,” Bridge said in a statement on Thursday.
