AusGroup bags Greater Western Flank gig

Singapore-listed AusGroup has been awarded a A$13 million (US$13.6 million) contract from Fugro-TSM to carry out fabrication work on Woodside Petroleum’s Greater Western Flank project, off Western Australia.

The contract will see AusGroup fabricate post metrology subsea spools for the first phase of the project and is expected to take about 12 months to complete.

The work will be carried out in West Australian town of Kwinana and the Australian Marine Complex facility in Henderson,which is also located in Western Australia.

AusGroup added that the contract was expected to create work for about 30 new staff.
