By Upstream staff

Norwegian driller Seadrill has landed a letter of award with Vietsovpetro which would see the jack-up drilling rig West Larissa carry out work off Vietnam.

The six well assignment will take about 360 days, with the contract being valued at about $66 million. This corresponds to a day rate of around $183,000.
