Intec lands K2 tie-in work

By Upstream staff

Houston-based Intec Engineering said it had won a contract to help design and engineer a single-well tie-back on Green Canyon Block 606 to Anadarko's K2 production unit in the deep-water Gulf of Mexico.

Intec said the new well would be controlled from Anadarko's Marco Polo platform.

The company said it would help to design the flowline, mainfolds, jumpers and subsea tree system, as well as the production control system. It would also work on the regulatory and permitting process for the project.
