Tidewater takes over STX vessels

Agreement: Tidewater has acquired contracts to take three PSVs being built for STX Pan Ocean

Offshore service vessel provider Tidewater has reached an agreement with STX Pan Ocean to take over contracts for three platform supply vessels currently being built by STX OSV in Norway.

STX OSV soriginally secured the contracts for the design and the construction of the vessels from STX Pan Ocean in 2010.

The first vessel is now scheduled to be delivered to Tidewater during the first quarter of the year, with the next two vessels scheduled for delivery in the second and third quarters.

All three vessels are of STX OSV PSV 09 design and will measure 87.9 metres in length, with a beam of 19 metres.
