Set to take delivery: of Twiga South-1 results

Tullow Oil is set to disclose the keenly awaited final results of its Twiga South-1 oil discovery in Kenya’s Lokichar basin next month, according to partner Africa Oil.

The probe marked the first strike by the UK explorer on Block 13T when it was unveiled late last year and Africa Oil revealed on Friday that current testing of five zones resulted in estimated flow rates of 500 barrels per day per interval.

The 50:50 partners are also drilling ahead at the Paipai-1 wildcat in Kenyan Block 10A, which is expected to reach total depth at the end of February.
