fabricate
74
modules
of
carbon
steel
that
will
house
fluid
handling
and
control
distribution
systems
as
part
of
the
UK
operator’s
$3
billion
project
to
redevelop
the
Schiehallion
and
Loyal
fields.
BP
intends
to
replace
the
existing
Schiehallion
floating
production,
storage
and
offloading
vessel,
as
well
as
upgrade
and
extend
the
subsea
system
by
adding
new
risers
and
flowlines
and
drill
additional
wells,
with
the
aim
of
exploiting
the
fields’
remaining
recoverable
resources
to
extend
their
life
to
2035.
Babcock
will
start
manufacturing
work
on
the
structures
at
its
Rosyth
plant
in
Scotland
in
March,

final
