Norwegian seismic player TGS has kicked off a 3D multi-client survey on prospective acreage off Liberia.
The
company
has
hired
the
12-streamer
vessel
Polarcus
Asima
to
carry
out
the
shoot
covering
7800
square
kilometres
in
the
Harper
basin
on
the
West
Africa
Transform
Margin.
The
industry-funded
survey
is
scheduled
to
take
six
months
with
data
to
be
made
available
to
clients
in
the
fourth
quarter
ahead
for
a
planned
Liberia
licensing
round
this
year.
