after
DESS
said
in

was
"looking
at

to
boost
its
Brazilian
presence
after

year
in
which
it

major
deals
from
both
BP
and
Petrobras.
The
new
50/50
venture
will
initially
own
and
operate
a
fleet
of
nine
AHTS
vessels
and
six
PSVs
being
provided
by
DESS,
a
Cyprus-registered
offshore
contractor
established
and
controlled
by
Norwegian
shipping
tycoon
John
Fredriksen.
BTG,
a
Latin
American
investment
bank,
will
acquire
a
50%
stake
in
certain
local
DESS
subsidiaries
to
create
the
venture.
The
venture
will
then
pay
cash…
