Statoil hunts for missing five

Norwegian oil major Statoil continues to search for five workers missing after a deadly hostage crisis in Algeria ended in bloodshed on Saturday.

Four Britons and one UK resident have now been confirmed dead in the Algerian attack and hostage crisis with the fate of three others unknown.

Oil companies and foreign governments are yet to confirm the total death toll from the situation at the In Amenas gas facility which was stormed by terrorists on Wednesday morning, leading to a days-long hostage drama which ended in widespread bloodshed on Saturday.
