Shell inks Subsea 7 Fram deal

Shell has handed Subsea 7 a large contract related to one of the Anglo-Dutch supermajor's developments in the North Sea.

The UK-headquartered services player is getting a contract worth $135 million from the oil giant for the project which forms part of the Fram oil & gas development in the Central North Sea.

"The project encompasses the engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation of a 4.5 kilometre pipeline bundle of approximately 44 inches in diameter, with integrated manifolds and tie-in structures," Subsea 7 said on Monday.
