Prosafe wins extra work for semisubs

Valhall extension: Safe Scandinavia

Oslo-listed flotel contractor Prosafe has secured additional work off Norway worth a total of $11.4 million for a pair of its semi-submersible accommodation units.

Statoil has exercised the first of four one-month options for Regalia for operations in 2014, with the declared option valued at $9.3 million.

BP has decided to further extend the use of Safe Scandinavia on operations at the Valhall field until 7 February, with the one-week extension worth $2.1 million.

Prosafe said utilisation of its 11-vessel fleet was at 82% during the fourth quarter.
