The
company
announced
on
Wednesday
that
the
successful
flows
occurred
during
testing
operations
of
the
Upper
B18
sands.
A
through
tubing
inflatable
packer
was
installed
and
the
well
had
been
cleaning
out
the
considerable
volumes
of
water
and
nitrogen
used
during
the
installation
process.
Specifically
choosing
a
small
choke
size
(4
millimetres)
for
the
initial
test
in
order
to
maintain
downhole
pressure
during
the
clean
out
process,
Hawkley
said
the
well
flowed
at
a
calculated
rate
of
900,000
cubic
feet
of
gas
per
day.
