AusTex grows Snake River output

Rising up: AusTex brings another two vertical wells on stream at the Snake River project in Oklahoma

US-focused AusTex Oil has brought a further two vertical wells on stream at its wholly-owned Snake River project in northern Oklahoma.

The company reported to the Australian Securities Exchange on Wednesday that the 20-2 and 20-5 wells had entered production at the Production Hub 2 and had flowed at peak rates of 97 barrels and 212 barrels of oil equivalent per day, respectively.

The 20-5 well, which also flared gas during production, still requires the completion of gas infrastructure.

AusTex chairman Richard Adrey said the successful flow rates from the wells helped to build on the company's production profile.
