Range Resources operations in Trinidad

Australian explorer Range Resources is preparing for a busy year across its three wholly-owned onshore licences in Trinidad.

The company, which is listed on both the London and Australian stock exchanges, said on Thursday it was planning various drilling campaigns, with the spudding of the QUN 140 well expected shortly.

Logging of this well had already indicated about 30.48 metres of net oil sands across a number of horizons and Range said it planned to place the well into production immediately after drilling (subject to the necessary approvals).
