Partners await decision from Iraqi authorities on scope of next development phase

BP and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) have started a pre-qualification process for the first of up to seven giant processing plants they aim to install at the Rumaila oilfield as the partnership awaits a decision from Iraqi authorities on the scope of the next phase of development.
