Subsea 7, Sea Trucks Group win Ehra North works

ExxonMobil has hired Subsea 7 and Sea Trucks Group for umbilicals and flowlines to serve its Ehra North deep-water field development off Nigeria.

The US supermajor’s Nigerian subsidiary Esso Exploration & Production awarded the works to Subsea 7’s Nigerian subsidiary and Sea Trucks Group Nigerian arm West African Ventures.

Subsea 7’s senior vice president in the region Olivier Carre said the award "underlines our ability to leverage local skills and assets when developing technological solutions for deep-water subsea construction”.

All subsea structure fabrication and “significant parts of the design” will be carried out in Nigeria, Subsea 7 said.
