BP confirms last Algeria death

BP has confirmed the death of its fourth employee following the January terrorist attack on the In Amenas gas field in Algeria.

Stephen Green, a HSSE specialist with the UK supermajor, was killed along with three other employees following the tragedy at the plant near the Libyan border.

BP said 47-year-old Green joined the company last year but had 23 years experience working on major international projects.

Colleague Colin Browning described Green as "a friendly and likeable guy" who "was respected and recognised for his contributions to safe working".
