feat
was
achieved
by
Transocean’s
Dhirubhai
Deepwater
KG1
(DDKG
1)
drillship
at
KG-DWN-2004/1
off
India’s
east
coast.
The
NA7-1
was
drilled
to
a
total
depth
of
5625
metres.
ONGC
said
that
the
waters
drilled
in
were
the
deepest
ever,
surpassing
Transocean’s
own
record
set
in
2011
with
the
DDDKG2
drilling
for
Reliance
Industries
in
depths
of
3107
metres
or
10,194
feet,
also
off
eastern
India.
