The
vessel,
dubbed
IN-ICE
and
based
on
the
company’s
INO-80
concept,
is
winterised
with
its
drilling
equipment
and
other
areas
completely
enclosed
to
avoid
ice
formation
for
work
in
extreme
sub-zero
temperatures.
The
drillship,
with
PC-4
ice
classification,
also
has
expanded
equipment
storage
and
logistics
capability
to
enable
it
to
work
for
extended
periods
at
remote
Arctic
locations
a
long
distance
from
shore.

vessel
has
both
thruster-assisted
turret
mooring
for
work
in
shallow-water
areas

well
as
dynamic
positioning
for
deep-water
