study,

conducted

the
Bureau
of
Economic
Geology
(BEG)
at
the
University
of
Texas
and
funded
by
the
Alfred
P.
Sloan
Foundation.

study
forecasts
a
total
of
44
trillion
cubic
feet
of
recoverable
reserves
from
the
Barnett,
and
sees
annual
production
declining
from
2
Tcf
per
year
to
about
900
billion
cubic
feet
annually
by
2030,
assuming
a
market
price
of
$4
per
million
British
thermal
