Turney Bayou project: a workover rig runs tubing and flow back tanks on the Rosewood Plantation-21H well site

Australia-listed Pryme Energy started flow back operations at its Rosewood Plantation-21H-1 well in Louisiana on Monday night, achieving a maximum flow rate of 1040 barrels of oil per day and 1.85 million cubic feet per day on a 15/64 choke.

The company recorded an average rate of 780 bpd and 1.7 MMcfpd in the following 12 hours with less than a 15% water cut.

The well is continuing to flow back drilling fluids and mud as it cleans up. Once this cleanup process is completed and the well is placed onto to the sales line, a long-term production rate is expected to be established.
