Hallin starts dive project off India

Start of work: a saturation diving system

Singapore's Hallin Marine has started work on a saturation-diving and air-diving project off the coast of Mumbai, India.

Hallin is carrying out the contract in partnership with Malaysia's Bumi Armada and is providing a complete diving system plus full diving team and operating crew to carry out the work.

Managing director of Hallin East, Rik Zwinkels, said the project was centred around the installation of three new wellhead platforms, D1-B, D1-C and D1-D, with output being processed on board a floating production, storage and off-loading vessel about two kilometres south-east of the existing D1 platform.
