Heading for the door?: Talisman Energy says it may sell Polish assets

Canada's Talisman Energy may sell some of its assets in Poland as part of a multi-billion disposition drive announced earlier this month.

"Talisman Energy is changing its operation strategies for the coming years as the result of changes on the oil and gas market," country director Tomasz Gryzewski told Reuters.

"Divestment options, including in Poland, are being considered. The management will release its decisions together with first quarter results [previously published in early May]," Gryzewski said.

The Calgary-based explorer's website confirms it is "evaluating its options in Poland".

The company revealed earlier this month it aimed to generate up to $3 billion from dispositions in the next 12 to 18 months.
