Oslo-listed flotel contractor Prosafe has landed an award worth at least $137.5 million to deploy one of its accommodation units at Talisman Sinopec Energy’s Montrose field in the UK North Sea.
The
1985-built
semi-submersible
Regalia
will
start
operations
at
the
field
in
August
2014
under
the
contract
for
a
firm
period
of
about
15
months,
with
the
Canadian-Chinese
operator
holding
four
extension
options
of
one
month
each.
