Wood Group in Chevron Colombia score

Chevron has handed services player Wood Group PSN a medium-term contract covering offshore and onshore plays in Colombia.

Wood Group will provide maintenance and operations services to the US supermajor’s offshore production facilities and two onshore fields in a deal worth $17.5 million.

The offshore portion of the contract covers the platforms Chuchupa A and Chuchupa B on the Chuchupa natural gas fields in the Caribbean.

The onshore work covers the two fnatural gas fields of Riochacha and Ballenas in La Guajira province in the north of the country.

The firm contract has a three-year duration with an option to extend for a further three years.
