Fastnet
chose
CGG
earlier
this
year
as
the
preferred
seismic
contractor
to
carry
out
a
number
of
3D
shoots
in
Celtic
Sea.
On
Tuesday,
Fastnet
confirmed
it
had
executed
the
contract
with
CGG
which
will
see
the
latter
gather
1710
square
kilometres
of
3D
seismic
starting
from
mid-April.
CGG
will

Veritas
Vantage
survey
vessel
to
gather
510
square
kilometres
of
3D
data
over
the
Deep
Kinsale
prospect,
which
lies
beneath
the
producing
Kinsale
Head
gas
field.
