Roger
will
step
down
as
Managing
Director
of
Centrica
Energy
Upstream
at
the
end
of
June
after
three
years
leading
the
business.
He
was
promoted
from
chief
operating
officer
of
North
Sea
explorer
Venture
Production
when
the
explorer
was
acquired
by
Centrica
and
merged
with
its
existing
upstream
business
in
January
2010.
Before
joining
Aberdeen-based
Venture
Production's
management
team
in
2003,
Roger
spent
12
years
with
ConocoPhillips
in
the
North
Sea
and
Indonesia.
The
upstream
stalwart
hinted
he
could
be
setting
up
a
new
explorer
after
leaving
Centrica.
