Charter deal: for Normand Corona with Shell

Oslo-listed Solstad Offshore has secured charters worth Nkr170 million ($29 million) for a trio of its platform supply vessels, in addition to a bareboat deal.

BG Group is taking Normand Arctic for a firm period of two years, with an option for a one-year extension, with the contract for work off Norway due to start in late May .

Normand Corona has started work off Norway for Shell under a four-month charter with one-month extension option, while Halliburton has fixed Normand Skipper for a firm five-month period with an option extension for a similar term.

The Oslo-listed vessel owner has also gained a bareboat charter with GSP Antares for its 1985-built anchor-handling tug supply vessel Normand Mjolne covering a two-year period that also includes an obligation to…
