Feeder: the Bomu pipeline supplies the Bonny Island crude facility
Shell restarts Bomu flows
Shell has resumed normal crude oil production at its 150,000 barrel per day Bomu pipeline hub in Nigeria after the facility was shut down by local protesters last week.
A Shell spokeswoman told Reuters the pipeline, which feeds into the Bonny Light crude terminal, was "back up and running at normal production over the weekend".
Protesters occupied the hub last Tuesday and demanded money or contracts from the oil major.
About 100 members of the nearby K-Dere community, including traditional chiefs, chased them away on Friday.
Separately, Shell said it was in discussions with community members in nearby Nembe to repair a pipeline that has shut in 77,000 bpd since May 25. The pipeline also feeds into the Bonny terminal.
