Swift weighs up NZ asset sale

Swift Energy said today it is planning to sell some or all its New Zealand assets and has retained Scotia Waterous as an advisor.

The company's New Zealand unit has two producing areas located onshore in the Taranaki basin on the north island of New Zealand.

It also maintains and operates two natural gas processing plants, an oil processing plant and oil and natural gas pipelines, Swift said in a statement.
