Easing tension: Crude rates fall as US inventories rise and Ukraine energy impact recedes

Oil fell under $106 a barrel on Wednesday to a six-week low as concerns eased about an escalation of the Ukraine crisis and following a larger-than-expected rise in US crude inventories.
