DOF in Statoil survey gig

Chartered: support vessel Libas

DOF Subsea has secured more North Sea survey and inspection work with Statoil after being awarded a call-off under an existing frame agreement with the Norwegian state-owned oil company.

The Oslo-listed contractor will carry out multibeam echosounder inspection of pipelines in shallow waters as well as deep-water pipeline survey and coral mapping work using chartered remote-operated vessel Libas this summer.

The deal, for which no value was disclosed, has a firm period of 50 days.
