Ukraine gas pay for Serinus

More pay: For Serinus in Ukraine

Canada’s Serinus Energy has said a Ukrainian development well in which it has a stake has hit multiple stacked gas zones.

The Olgoskoye-11 (O-11) probe in the east of the country has identified net pay in four zones of Bashkirian or Serpukhovian age, it said.

The well was drilled by operator KUB-Gas to a total depth of 3230 metres, with logging now complete.

The well was drilled in part to appraise the gas discovery at nearby O-15.

Three of the four zones have already been established as productive within the company’s Ukrainian licences.

The two primary targets intersected are the R-30c and the S6, while the second targets are B8b and S7.
