By Upstream staff

Singapore oil services company Ezra Holdings said today it plans to sell up to 44.5 million shares in its Oslo-listed unit EOC Ltd for up to S$282 million ($185 million).

The sale would pare Ezra's stake in EOC to about 48% from 88%, Ezra said in a statement.

Ezra said the private placement will be directed toward Norwegian and international institutional and professional investors.
