Red Fork hits Osage milestone

By Upstream staff

Australia-listed Red Fork Energy said today production from its 100%-owned Osage project in Oklahoma had reached output of 1 million cubic feet equivalent of gas per day.

Red Fork is now in the final phase of completing its work-over programme at Osage, with the remaining shut-in wells planned to be treated and tied-in to production by the end of October.

With the purchase of key gas transportation infrastructure linking the project with the emerging Tulsa field now secured, the combined project will become the focus of the company’s ongoing development strategy to build sustainable production levels in excess of 10 MMcfepd.
