You will report to the Principal Engineer, you will support the execution of Prospect projects, using your own technical expertise and experience in Engineering Design, Computational Analysis as well as group-wide technical support.
In this key role, you’ll have an important part to play in the wide range of new Oil and Gas developments we’re rolling out across the globe. And when you realise the scale and scope of what will often be $multi-billion projects, you’ll understand what an exciting opportunity that presents. Providing technical process engineering support, the challenges you’ll face will be as diverse as the projects you’re involved in. As well as working closely with Development Managers and Subsurface professionals to make the most of our existing sites and develop new proposals, you’ll oversee the work of contractors from conceptual studies all the way through to the detailed design stage. You’ll also contribute significantly to the development of less experienced colleagues.

Australia’s Nido Petroleum will later this week begin a major seismic sweep across its Philippines Palawan exploration portfolio, the company said today.
The programme will be the largest ever undertaken by Nido, covering a total area in excess of 5000 line kilometres of 2D and 846 square kilometres of 3D seismic data.
The combined programme will involve the Pacific Titan and Pacific Sword seismic vessels, both contracted from CGGVeritas for the operation period of between 100 and 120 days.
The seismic will cover service contracts 54, 58 and 63.
Nido expects the SC 54 3D shoot to begin on 28 September and run for 20 days.
The SC 63 2D survey will start in the middle of next month and will run through to December.
The SC 58 2D and 3D programme will start in late October with operations extending into January 2008.
Nido will be partnered by PNOC-Exploration Company (PNOC-EC) on SC 58 and 63 and by Kairiki Energy on SC 54.
