Incremental gets cracking at Selmo

By Upstream staff

Australia’s Incremental Petroleum has started work on its $4 million drilling programme at its 100%-owned Selmo oilfield in Turkey.

Incremental said drilling at the first of the planned series of four horizontal well completions of existing wells was no under way.

The Selmo-22 well is targeting the Lower Sinan Dolomite, a reservoir that has been responsible for 95% of production from the Selmo field.

The Selmo field is producing at around 1500 barrels a day of light crude, with monthly revenue of more than $2.5 million to the company, Incremental said.
