Setting targets: Petrobras boss Jose Sergio Gabrielli
Petrobras trio ‘to hit capacity by mid-year’
Three Brazilian offshore oil platforms due to start up in November are expected to reach full output in six to eight months, Jose Sergio Gabrielli, head of Brazil's state-run Petrobras said today.
"This will take six to eight months," Gabrielli told Reuters during a visit to the United Nations, in New York.
The platforms will have a total capacity of around 540,000 barrels per day.
