Endeavour raises red flag

By Upstream staff

North Sea player Endeavour International reported a third quarter loss as the Texas-based start-up worked to reduce debt and develop its assets.

Endeavour reduced its third quarter net losses to $11.7 million, or nine cents per diluted share, compared with net income of $15.2 million, or 17 cents per diluted share, in the same quarter last year.

Revenues for the period rose to $47.2 million from $31.6 million previously.

The company said present production was 9700 barrels of oil equivalent per day, above its production guidance range of an average 9000-9400 boepd for the year.
