United Arab Emirates player Dolphin Energy has launched a tender for the design and construction of a 240 kilometre gas pipeline, according to local media reports.
The Khaleej Times said the pipeline will link Dolphin Energy's gas receiving facilities on the coast of Abu Dhabi with a power and water desalination plant in Fujairah, an emirate on the eastern coast of the country.
Bids are due by 431 january next year, with the award likely by the second quarter. The Times added work is likely to start in the third quarter of next year.
