Getting bigger: the Shtokman field, in the Russian sector of the Barents Sea
Russia's Gazprom has revised the reserves figure for the Shtokman gas field, pegging them at 3.8 trillion cubic metres rather than the original estimate of 3.7 Tcm. The move follows a series of new studies at the massive Barents Sea field.
