Bow to spin Queensland bits

Brisbane-based Bow Energy said today it would take part in three conventional wells during the first part of 2008.

The company said it would drill an exploration wells with a 78% working interest in the Don Juan area in Queensland, as well as farm into a multi-well programme on Santos’s ATP 752P licence in the Cooper-Eromanga basin, also in Queensland. Bow said it would hold a 15% stake in the project following the farm-in.

The company also said drilling was continuing on its Carnarvon-1 coalbed methan well in the Don Juan area, with the well reaching the top of the Walloon coal measure at 57 metres after restarting drilling earlier this month.

Bow operates the well with a 57% working interest.
