Red Fork spuds in Oklahoma

By Upstream staff

Australia’s Red Fork Energy has spudded its 2-32 coalbed methane well on its 100% owned Osage project in Oklahoma.

The company said in a statement today the well was expected to reach total depth of 1417 feet by the end of the week, testing all known potential pay zones in the osage prospect.

Red Fork said had also contracted to drill its 1-18 and 1-20 wells this month. The company holds leases to about 37,000 acres in Oklahoma.
