PA output slides
Swedish independent oil company PA Resources said its production fell to
15,066 barrels per day in the fourth quarter of last year from 17,250 bpd in
the third quarter.
All of the production came from the company's interests in production licences
in Tunisia, it said.
Total 2007 production nearly tripled from 2006, but still missed a target of
reaching 16,000 bpd by the end of 2007.
Production fell in December to 12,968 bpd, said PA, which is listed in Oslo
and Stockholm.
"A yearly average production of 15,093 barrels per day has been achieved,
despite the delay in start-up of El Bibane and Volve. This is an increase of
277% compared to 2006," the company said.
