Kazakhstan bumps output bar

Kazakhstan will produce 69-70 million tonnes (516 million – 524 million barrels) of oil this year, slightly above last year's 67.5 million tonnes, Energy Minister Sauat Mynbayev said today.

"We plan to reach the level of 69-70 million tonnes in oil output," he told an energy ministry meeting, Reuters reported.
