Red Fork primes Osage wells

By Upstream staff

Australian minnow Red Fork Energy is adding a second producing zone to the Bass 89-1 well as part of a nine-well completion campaign on the Osage project in Oklahoma.

Perth-based Red Fork said the well had been perforated in the Tyner Sand to add to existing production from the Willcox formation.

The company said it was evaluating the new zone for fracture stimulation.

It said it was also extending pipeline infrastructure at the 100%-owned project to tie in production from the newly drilled and completed Red Fork 4-28, 3-29, 5-29 and 2-32 wells.

Red Fork said a further four wells had also been selected for recompletion or workovers by the end of the quarter.
