Woodside plugs in Cossack-Pioneer

Woodside Petroleum has restarted production at the 74,000 barrels per day Cossack-Pioneer oilfield off Western Australia as the threat from Cyclone Nicholas passed.

"Cossack was re-connected yesterday and began producing today," Woodside's spokesman Roger Martin said in a statement sent to Reuters.

Martin said the company’s 30,000 bpd Enfield oilfield remains shut.
