Pacific Rubiales boosts Piriri reserves
Canadian Latin America player Pacific Rubiales has boosted reserves estimates for its Rubiales-Piriri field in Colombia’s Llanos field.
Pacific Rubiales said a new report by consultancy Petrotech Engineering estimated proved plus probably reserves at the field at 270.7 million barrels of oil, up 47.5% from its previous estimate in May 2007.
Pacific Rubiales chief executive Ronald Pantin said: “his is the result of a very successful appraisal and exploration drilling campaign that the company has undertaken and reinforces our belief in the value of these fields.”
