Latest jobsPerth-based Amadeus Energy’s Paul Hermes-1 wildcat in Texas has been put on line, flowing 3.5 million cubic feet of natural gas with 69 barrels of oil per day, the company said today.
Amadeus has a 40.75% interest in the well in Lavaca County, Texas. The well is operated by Trio Consulting & Management.
Amadeus said the Spartan Schwing-2 wildcat at Bayou Choctaw in Iberville Parish, Louisiana, had reached total depth of 14,386 feet and was preparing to log the hole below 12,710 feet after striking several gas shows.
The well is operated by Spartan Operating Company.
The well, in which Amadeus holds a 52% stake, was targeting the Upthrown Nodosaria prospect betweek 13,500 and 14,500 feet.
Amadeus also reported the Woodley-91 well at Racoon Bend, in Austin County, Texas, had struck net combined pay of more than 60 feet after being drilled to total depth of 3722 feet on 26 February. Oil sands were struck in the Paine, Woodley, Wilson, Grawunder and McElroy zones.
Amadeus owns a 15% stake in the well, which is operated by Enhanced Energy Partners.
The company also reported potential pay in the Tarkio, Topeka, Plattsmouth, Toronto, LKC and Arbuckle formation in the LL Austin-10 oil well at White Eagle, in Ellis County, Kansas. Amadeus said the well would be completed in the Arbucke zone, which could contain up to 30 feet of pay in the Arbuckle formation. The well was drilled to total depth of 3380 feet in the Arbuckle formation on 26 February.
The Wolf-9 well, also at the White Eagle project, hit total depth of 3680 feet in the Arbuckle formation on 3 March and was being cased for production from several zones in the Lansing-Kansas City formation. Potential pay in the Arbucke interval was also being investigated, the company said.
Amadeus holds a 57.8% stake in both Kansas wells, which are operated by TNT Engineering.
